One of Britain’s leading contemporary sculptors, Simon Gudgeon has a signature smooth-style that marvellously concentrates spirit and nature. His minimalist, semi-abstract forms depict both movement and emotion of a moment captured with a visual harmony that is unmistakably his own.

'Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.’

New Work

Athena. Bronze, limited edition of 9. £57,500

This is a totally new style for me and it is based on voronoi patterns. It was inspired by working with Ksenia Ovsyanick, principal ballerina at the Staatsballett Berlin, to create a sculpture that nestles within and works synonymously with the outdoor surroundings and nature itself.

Sculpture by the Lakes

At his sculpture park in Dorset, Sculpture by the Lakes, there are over 30 of Simon Gudgeon's outdoor pieces on display in the 26 acre grounds and his smaller works are in the Gallery Cafe.
